I'm curious though, the first scene, theres the person sitting on the sled, with a BCA Float 18. I'm curious as to what the black thing on the back with the shovel in it is. I run the same kind of pack and am kind of looking for different options of packing my shovel.

That is me! LOL So, that is the mess dealio that they use for holding their ski helmets on. I used it with a combination of little bungies to hold my shovel on. I never found a 100% good combination. Some days it would stay put fine, other days it wouldn't. This year, going to the Float 22. Problem solved.

Ah. I see. My dad bought me a Float 18 last year as kind of an impulse buy. Didn't give me a chance to research what I want, so I'm stuck with the 18 for a while lol
