Dayco XTX belt

I have about 400+ miles on mine and it still looks new, I paid 90 dollars for mine , the site I bought it from said it retails for 155

Tell me about this belt... Is it better than the XS belt. I've had great luck with the XS so is this supposed to be better?

So weird seeing you around these parts...What day are you picking up your sled?

Saturday! Please tell me I'm doing the right thing. I'm pretty skeptical about jumping to Cats. I'm one of the few that's had good luck with Doos. I just refuse to go to an XP. EVERY person that I know that has one, has blown it up at least once, one guy.....5 times.

Like Jrod was saying, can anyone compare the carlisle & dayco belts?

I like the xs belt as well, but am always up for trying something else.

tried dayco on m7

I tried a dayco on the m7 and after riding checked clutch and was spinning in there leaving marks.Took it off because it did not perform, seemed to hard..JMO..

Backcountry-
Have you noticed that the XS breaks when it goes bad instead of shreading? We ran one on a 1000 last year and when it blew there was no warning, it just broke and we were left with a hole in the belly pan. It seems like when the cat belts go they pull cords and shred giving you enough warning to do something before it does damage.

I'm trying the XTX belt on my 08 800 Dragon 163, 3 hard rides on it so far so good.It's a bit stiffer that the XS carlisle belt and not as deep of lugs on it. Seems to be holding up ok............ :beer;:beer;

I rode mine 6 miles wfo in 2ft untracked pow 2 days ago, I dont normally hold it open that long but I had 3 doos behind me and I wasnt about to let off. that booger held up well it never slipped. and after b6mi I had to wait about b30 seconds for the dragon to show up and atleast a full minute for the 2 700 rmk's to show up. we were breaking trail on a road, it was a blast. I have been through several other pow fields , gettin it on with no problems.

I'm running one on mine right now and so far so good, I put in 82g weights instead of the 80g I was running with the 060 and it hooks great. Seems to be more consistent with the rpm as well, hope it lives as long as the 060 did.
