dash switches, seat, and other rmk Qs

Well I have a few more questions and didnt* wanna start a new thread. But my other thread isnt getting much traffic in the polaris section so heres a go in 900 subforum.

I know people have adapted the skinz seat post to the 900s by removing the storage units and somehow bolting it all up. Has anyone tried using a raw seat? I like the all black look better than the funky red strip on my stock seat.

Is it possible to use the console on the raw chassis to clean everything up when I get rid of the rider select and add dash mounted switches.

I bought a set of pro taper bars and am looking to clean up the bars by relocating all the switch to the dash similar to the new dragons. I have a pretty good idea of what I need for this but any tips or suggestions would be helpful.

I will try and get some decent pictures of all this as it progresses to help others in the future.

The 07-08 seat is a direct fit. the 09 seat will fit also but exposes the tank sides and is un-sightly. two ways to clean up the bars. One is to re-mount the multi switch panel directly to the adjust delete plate, works ok but is still kinda gawdy IMO. You could re-wire all to indivdule switchs which would be cleanest but alot of work. I contemplated doing this but opted to just keep the original brake res and switch set up for simplicity.
