Danials Summit today! Holy CoW!

Went up and had a nice road ride on Saturday, parked near the Strawberry marina and headed south. Had about 18 inchs of snow on the roads, enough to play around a little.

Went back today and it was a different story. Instead of not enough snow to go off the road, there was to much!

Had to park at the Summit lodge, none of the other lots were even plowed. Road south out of the lodge on the groomers till the snow starting getting deep, like 3-4 feet deep!

Thanks guys. You do a good job of making us jealous. Tuesday is gonna be good. Now if only I can find somebody to ride with on Tuesday.

I really need to get off this site for a couple weeks................

Glad you guys got out and tore it up.:D

Stoopid deep!

We rode Lake Creek today and it was 2-3'+ everywhere. Road banging. Found some super fun spots.
Only problem is there is NO base. Very dangerous, passed some poor guys M that was sitting on the side a the road, totally shot on the left side. Still way too much risk to get on it.
Also, we set off a bunch of decent slides that broke to the ground. Remote triggers too. BE CAREFUL out there.
Once this round of snow sets up and we get another dump it will be close to good. But that sugar on the bottom will haunt the snopack for a while yet.

Bossrev scared me when he thought it was Hector. Talked to Marc and he only knows of 3 M series WRP seats sold here in Utah. I know 2 of them and they are home safe.

Best thing that can happen is for a number of those slopes to slide to the ground and get rid of that crap underneath.

Saw that same M series and thought oh sh!t how's hector.
That thing was wiped out!! I would like to know why leave your pack, shovel and key in ignition WTF?
pm'd Hector to make sure all was good :beer;

What happen to your WRP seat?????

The seat is awesome, just noticed a few adjustments that need to be made after riding on Saturday. It is a prototype ya know so this is to be expected. I can say this though, when we get it dialed it will be the shiz.

Thought the same thing. Who in their right mind leaves a pack behind?

After we made sure nobody was laying anywhere around it I almost made a christmas ornament with there shovel sticking through the mountain strap. at least nobody else would have run over the top of it burried 3' below the snow surface and S&R for it probably would have been easier, but I wouldn't want anybody messing with my stuff so we left it.

loan me a stock seat for my xp and I will go with you.

I was up at DS yesterday as well, pretty sure I passed you seeing as how the SledGimp avatar is what was on your windshield. My dad and I were on an M8 and M1000 pretty much at the summit of the trail. good to see other members out riding!

but ya saturday kinda sucked, tons of rocks even on the trails but today wouldve been a blast. was funny seeing that moron in his Toyota pickup trying to drive up the trail though. Im assuming he made it out?
