Is anyone looking at attending one of his clinics? I can now afford the registration fees and going to book the 3 day course for 31 Dec - 2 Jan. Once that is booked, I'll book a room at the Flying Saddle Resort. What better way to spend New Years than getting educated to effectively & confidently ride my sled.

I'd like to be able to confidently ride with all of you at the Forum ride at Togwotee in Feb.

I might be game.
But have been thinking about taking a class from Amber Holt.

But Dan has a CLASS ACT operation set up!

Wow! pricey! I can see it as a valauable experience but given the current economic situation those prices are steep, IMO.

His prices are comparable to the other "true" clinics being offered. If it goes like everyone else states, it's money well spent.

Hey guys 2 of my buddies and i are actually going to the dan adams clinic on dec. 31 through the 2nd. we are all pumped about it. heading there from wisconsin. we actually have room for 1 or possibly 2 more if anyone is interested in going along from this area. Probably staying out a couple of extra day to test our new skills.

Just got done registering for the 31 Dec - 2 Jan clinic dates. Looking forward to it, but nervous about it at the same time.

Call tomorrow to book a room at the Flying Saddle Resort.

Maybe I can twist Christopher's arm enough to get him to go.

I've been to two sessions with Dan.

His program was one of the most well thought out clinics, of any kind, that I've been to.

His goal is to evaluate where you are... and where you want to go in your riding and have a specific set of drills, talks and riding areas to get you there in as short of time as possible.. and take it home with you to work on more.'

The sole purpose of the Next Lvl clinic is to coach and teach you to get you to be a better rider... the sole purpose.

This is some of the BEST money you can spend on sledding.

Like learning to golf... one of the best things a good teacher does is get you unplugged from your bad habits and get you to have fun with learning some good ones.

I'll be going back again this year.

I am thinking pretty hard about this one too. I perused his website and I like how he has some evaluation questions on there pertaining to your perceived skill level. My goal this year is to try and eliminate my "weak side". I have gotten better every year at it, but I would be lying if I said I didn't favor one side to another. Granite countertops may have to wait...

I haven't been to to Dan's clinic, but it looks to be in the top 2 of choices.
I've stayed at flying saddle, many a time, and you won't be dissapointed.
Some freindly advice, make sure you budget $100 for a new york at the Million Dollar Cowboy bar (Jackson Hole). It will be the highlight of your trip.:becky:

yep! who ever said it was spendy has never been heli-skiing :face-icon-small-sho

Skiing??!! You gotta be kidding.:boxing:

I dunno. I think $300 a day on my own sled is high, but that's my opinion. $300 bucks for me is alot of fuel and riding days. I have actually been watching Matt and Phatty in slo mo and then attepting to mimic the moves when I ride. It's working.

^^^ Baleev it.....norm for Heli skiing is around $5000 for 7 days and you may only ski 1 day due to bad weather.......I just booked a cat skiing trip for $700 per day......BUT, if you love skiing its F#*CKIN AWESOME
