Anybody try one yet? It alledgedly warms things up. I don't want to run bags on the bars, and thought this was a good option. I also see the non vented option. Any input?

I have the non vented version and think its a great option. You cant keep much in it but it works good for a thin pair of gloves, a hat and a small bottle of advil.

Not sure how the vented will provide more room or allow heat/drying unless you cut/drill into the cowling.

I like the fact that they do still deflect air/snow, they don't get scrape marks all over them from the trees and they look good and wont break. Don't have to worry at all when rolling a sled over to get unstuck. Eric

You should also look at the Holeshot bag. I really like mine. It is bigger than the Dan Adams and it has a nice area where the gauge originally mounts to dry out gloves.

I just ordered mine, I should get it some time this month. I will try to remember to post pictures of the install, but the hole doesn't scare me bring on the Dremel.

they sell vents that would cover that later if you switched out the bag anyways.

I have tried the vented bag. I have one on a 900 '14 PRO. It works great I think. Not really sold on the looks of it yet,
But the functionality is definitely there.

so nobody tried the vented bag?

Looks like this on the bottom. My gauge lifer pumps out heat from the vent so i dont see how it wouldnt work.

HEATED SACK

this bag may rock dunno? I second the hole shot bag though.......u can leave the key in the bag if you like or mount outside........but its also a "heated" bag, lots of storage, it will roll with sled controlled or not, no cutting....just move the guage........I personally love it! But! it can leave yer gauge in not the most optimum angle as some people like it facing up more. the heated bags are pretty sweet in my opinion very convenient and hole shot has lots of space

For those like myself that had not seen the Holeshot Bag here is their video:

I like this design better then any other dash bag I have seen. I have never been a fan of the looks of the NXTLVL bag but I like the function of the concept.

I ran the Dan Adams vented bag all last season on 2 of our sleds. It worked very well, it was quite durable (I ride tight trees) nothing snagged or tore the bag, although a few branches left their marks. I like how it attaches at the rear with a screw, it is solidly mounted. The bag was good in terms of size, it held a thin pair of gloves, goggles and a map easily. One thing I noticed is that for anything to dry, you must leave the zipper open about a 1/2" so moisture can escape.

I would buy the bag again if I needed another, but I would consider the Holeshot as well because of its added storage, I might be getting old, but I like having LOTS of storage.

too anyone that has the holeshot

Just curious about how the holeshot bag looks with out a windshield. I like to be able to do the "roll over" to get out of some sticky spots and not have to worry about wrecking anything.
