I know a guy who did the Skinz Float plate & NXT LVL bumper said it all fit fine with no modifications but said the bumper was tough to get on. I plan on putting my float plate on today, I want to order the red nxt lvl bumper but not sure yet.
Such a sweet looking setup, but $400 for front and rear bumpers. C'mon that's a bit ridiculous.
^^ Amen, lots of parts and pieces that all come together in the kit, the equipment required to make production levels aren't cheap, but the volumes aren't that high to pay out everything.I think the price of the rear is a little steep, lot less material and less bends makes it easier to make. But the front is priced accordingly IMO think of the machinery it takes to build these, it's not like Skinz is selling thousands and thousands and thousands of these per year anyways. I am a CNC machinist and my machine gets charged over $120 an hr to run, we have millions and millions of dollars worth of tooling to keep my million dollar machine running. These bumpers are made in the USA. The Polaris Extreme bumper retails for only $20 less anyways and don't look half as cool. Not to mention they have to powdercoat them too. Gotta pay to play.
anyone running the net lvl front bumper and a factory cover? any problems?
I just got my bumper installed but no skid plate. Good solid bumper and it fit great.
I ran the bumper last year on my 12 pro rmk with a factory cover and polaris skid plate. I am putting the front bumper and cover on my 2015 rmk 800 LE. It will fit with a slidplate but instead of using the rivets for the lower holes just use nuts and bolts much easier and more secure.
