Daltons vs supertips

I currently have supertips and am wondering how the daltons compare. I've heard that some people prefer the daltons. My 174x3 is giving me hot clutches and I'm thinking about trying them out.

i have supertips and i think next time i might go to daltons, the the surface of the supertips that rides on the roller is quite narrow compared to daltons are like stock in terms that the weight rides on the full width of the loader thus not creating grooves. On the other hand the super tips have better adjustability

I never blew a belt or pulled a cord with the 162. I changed the belt at the end of each year and that was it. I just found a great deal on 19 41 gears and a chain. I'm gonna try that and report back, sounds like the 174x3 make hot clutches no matter what. This should help. I just never shut the sled off and its usually to the bar.

no prob with my nytro with the 174x3 clutches get warm but never blew a belt.i really like the daltons just seem easyer to tune just seem to work better overall get ahold of nm he caries dalton weights & has good set ups for the apex with 174x3.

i just ordered daltons the other day for some easier tuning on my nytro 180 turbo. i just dont like messing with those rivets.

Daltons for sure

You will like the Daltons, they have a good shift profile and the weight is in the right place.
