Dail-a-jets?

Used them, didnt like them. You cant shut them all the way off. Not enough adjustment. Power jets work much better. Big adjustment range. 1200psi sells them on the 4m.

dial-a-jets

have a dual setup on a mxz 600, with the ufo's, works good, and highly recommend. My application may not need duallies, but they work great lots of adjustment. Ride from 2000' to 8700' in mountain terrain, stuck a few, but having great time. I set one side for flat land riding, with the 2nd on rich side, and as elevation increases lots of room to lean out. find they are very forgiving come down the mtn. Easy to adjust, suggest EGT gauages if you want to lean it out, very responsive, get remote filters to keep passages clean. Draw backs are you still have to adjust, it's easier but.

Ill second Snowstar , call Brad Wursten (1200psi) and get some clippard power jets, best out there.

Dial a jets rock, Dual Dial a Jets are awesome, and Quad Dial a Jets are king... :D

In all seriousness, have a buddy that swears by em. They are not for everyone though. You really need to understand how they work and what they do. I have seen guys have a lot of problem tuning the bottom end on Power Jets..

This has been discussed many times, and I thought I should chime in this time.
Dial-a-jets and powerjets are not the same thing even though they are similar.
Dial-a-jets also suck air in through the top, and mixes it with the fuel in the tiny plenum, before it is sucked into the carb. At least it is supposed to. Powerjets do not. They suck raw fuel from the floatbowl. Dial-a-jets are supposed to create a finer mist of fuel.

By the way, I run Powerjets on my 44 Lectrons.

liked the throttle response, not the problems.

ran dualies for a couple years. replaced pistons several times in that couple of years. removed them and never burnt down again, and to my knowledge the current owner is still running my last set of pistons.

Run dial -a- jets on the sled for 8 yrs. Have worked great, no motor problems of any sort, had EGT gauges on sled, kept temps under 1250F, it sure ripped, liked them but still had to adjust. belt dust was a problem, thus need for remote filters. Sounds like some had problems, don't know why, guess some have all the luck. I'd set them up on the conservative side without EGT's

EGT's or an air/fuel gauge are a must if you run dial a jets or power jets. Anything you are playing with the jetting that much needs to be monitored always. I run the power jets, knew a guy that burnt down his t-cat three times before he ripped his dial a jets off, never had a problem after that.

lIKE THE LAST GUY SAID IF YOUR MESSING WITH THEM AND DON'T READ YOUR PLUGS AFTER ADJUSTING THEN YOUR AT FAULT.READ THE BOOK FIRST BEFORE YOU INSTALL BECAUSE ALL INFO IS IN THERE.YOU NEED TO DROP A JET SIZE OR TWO AFTER YOU GET YOUR GETTING FIGURED OUT THEN YOU PUT ON THE DIAL A JETS.ONCE YOU GET THIS AND THE DIAL TUNED RIGHT THEY PULL LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN.SAVED ME MANY TIMES FROM BURNING DOWN IN THE MID RANGE .THEY ARE ONLY AS GOOD AS THE TUNER SO READ YOUR PLUGS WHEN ADJUSTING.MY TRIPPLE HATED THE MID RANGE BECAUSE IT PULLED SO HARD AND LEANED OUT BUT AFTER THE DIALS ON IT IT BECAME CRISPY AND INSTANT THROTTLE RESPONSE.
GOOD LUCK.!!!!!!
