I wore my old Klim boots out. They leak so bad now that I have to ring my socks out after every ride. I was hoping they would make it to the end of the season, but no luck.

If you had to buy a new pair of boots this week, what would you buy & why. Klim is the only sled boot I've ever worn, but I'm open to sugestions. I'm currently looking at the Klim Adrenaline GTX Boots and the HMK Pro. I have a really wide boot right now in the old klim boot. I would like to get into the skinnier boot, so my running boards dont feel so small.

did you think about sending them in? I had a pair leak so they tested them and replaced no questions asked.

These are 5-6 years old. I talked to Klim at Hay Days this year, and was told they only warranty their boots for a year, after that you are SOL. They are a great product, just disapointed that they leak. You should see the outer layer on them, just like they are delambinating(sp).

They only gear I have is Klim, and everything is always been great with them. Heck, even wear their bennie when I'm out of the tractor blowing snow.

What type of riding do you typically do? If you are riding trails and/or if your feet get cold easy, then I would recommend the Klim Arctic GTX boots. Otherwise, I would recommend the Klim Adrenaline GTX.

Check out the HMK Voyager's Matty. Replaced my old Klim's with them this year and love em.

I really love my Klim adrenaline GTX's I can't see myself needing anything better these things rock!! provide great warmth and dryness but also have great ankle support and traction yet don't feel overly bulky. Sounds like you got your moneys worth out of yours!

I have both the Klim Adrenalin GTX, and the HMK Team Boa Focus.

If you hate laces as much as I do, get yourself a set of HMK Boa's and dont look back.

The HMK Voyager Boa is a similar size/style boot to the Klim GTX...BUT it has the BOA system.

Matty, if you plan to walk more than 20 feet then DON'T get the Radiums. LOL

I ordered the Klim Adrenalin GTX's, as that looked like the best choice for me. I would love to try the Voyagers with the turn dial laces, but I need a new pair of boots by Saturday & the Klims looked like the only ones I could get by then. + the HMK's are $40 more, & I'm not sure its worth it.

Scotty, My old Klims were the Radiums. Great boot, just hard to walk in, & I hated doing both the inner & outer laces.

Yeah, I've grown quite tired of that myself. I find myself just putting on the old LaCrosse with airbob soles. They running boards chew them up, but I am way more mobile in them.

Ah Matty...why must you settle for second best!

The new neutral balance HMK Voyagers with boa are the absolute shiznit of riding boots...heck for that matter they are a darn good all around everything boots.

Don't know why you guys dick around with those cute little snowmobile boots and just get a pair of Danner light insulated boots. Very lightweight, waterproof, comfortable, fairly inexpensive.

Rob, I would have went with them in a heartbeat from your performance partners, if I knew you were gonna throw in a pair of better boards on the deal. Maybe next time.

BTW, isn't it about time we drink to much beer together again somtime soon??

but I need a new pair of boots by Saturday

How many sleds are you going to total this time? :face-icon-small-sho I got a report yesterday from one of the guys.... "Saw all the black marks on the hwy".

You need to save a ride or two for later in the year when you can meet up with us.

We are going on a poker run at home this weekend. Where are you going Presidents Day weekend? I just made reservations at Rob's in Cooke for that Fri-Mon.
Black marks on the highway? I know exactly what he's talking about and where he was at. Ask him if the snow in the ditch is gone yet. We're missing a still missing a bunch of tools that were still in the snow.

I was hoping to take Nicole to the Hills that weekend. She hasnt been out for a couple years. See what happens. I know thats Robs first weekend off.

Maybe we can just run into each other again, later in the year... :face-icon-small-ton

OK, I'll be the 1st to admit, I'm not good at making up my mind on what to buy. Yeaterday I was on a biz trip for work down by Fargo. I lost my fav Klim benni last week, & thought I'd go look for another one. I walked into the dealer & they had a big HMK display. I walked over & started looking at the boots. They had the Voyager Boots with the ratchet wheel in my size. They also had the Kim boots that I had ordered, so I tried them on as well.

Long story, short. I bought the Voyagers & plan on sending the Klim's back when I get them.

+ I got 20% off the HMK's so that brought them down to the same price as the Klims that I ordered!!:face-icon-small-ton

Matty you in for Afton P-Day? That seems to be a pretty good opportunity to try out your new "dancin shoes"! Plus it might make me more motivated to attend. I will tell you my boozn skills have suffered in recent times. Down to semi pro status if not right above rank amatuer. But who knows might amp her up for the "big game"!
