D&D turbo wieghts... anyone running?

anyone running the d&d weights that look to be designed for a turbo?

i have some in a sled a i picked up (800 w/ 66 aero), never have ran them before but by design look to be a good turbo weight design. they are built up on the heel with a rolled/gradual transition into the mid part of the wieght with the tip built up having a few extra grams it looks like.

they are stamped D&D 77 on the side.

any idea what these "act" like as far as a cat weight profile would be? these are suppose to be the ideal wieght for 8-10k, i put in some 83g cat wieghts for 2000ft and seem to be fairly close, but they are tip light and dont seem to load the motor on the top end as much. i dont know how well the clutching was for 8-10k as i havent run it there yet but if its anything like the fuel settings that were in the pure logic box its way off.

any info is great, thanks.

i am running d&d 79 grams in my tm8 and they work well, i believe they pull like a 84G cat weight but they also hold the rpm at lower boost levels due to the design, much better then stock weights

ya, they have just a very gradual flat spot in the heel to lower midrange on the roller side of the weight... i'd imagine this gives some kind of "stall" effect which helps with the bottom end like you are saying.

i might have to get a set of 85's and try them down here at low elevation.

They should say Mountain magic

They are my weights we have them in stock.

We're using the D & D turbo weights in a TM1200 4-post. We like the ability to change the small magnet weights for changes in altitude and to tune to the optimum rpm range.
