D&D 1010 complete motor w/pipes

I have a buddy that is parting out his 1M chassis and wants to sell the motor. Motor was just re-built and ceramic coated like 10 or 15 rides ago. 03 Cat bottom end set up for pre-mix, D&D 1010 top end, carbs, electrical, and D&D twin pipes (coated) into a single can. I think he said $2200 + shipping. Also said that he would throw in the secondary. Primary has sold.

He's got too many sleds and this one was up for sale and wouldn't go for what he wanted, so he figured he would put the Fabcraft rear skid under his TAPEX, another buddy needed the track and so on, so he just decided to part it out. You know how it goes, lots of money in and very little out.

10 to 15 rides, sounds like time to rebuild again, is it original crank ?? interested if its not a junker

not a junker. had slp port the cylinders. had all crank and rod bearings replaced.they also realigned the crank and glue the pins so you can still take it apart if need.its got one short season

i have ridden with this guy and that sled runs real strong, someone should have just bought the whole thing. Cant be worn out he has two turbos to ride cant substatute boooooooooooooost..... Ten or so rides is a half of an average season you do the math

I'm in Lewiston all the time and could get the motor that far. Also it's set up to run pre-mix. Not a junker at all.

hay these motors run great i had one in my king cat but got a Q- for ya if its a true D&D 1010 like mine was the cylinders are cast f-5 cylinders not board out and well D&D ports all there cylinders for these kits so if its a real D&D why did slp do the port job

For the record... The castings of the f5's are as loose as can be. I set mine on the bench and without getting out the micrometer, I could see the differences. I'm sure anything SLP did was an improvement. I have over 14k on my motor and that putting out 242 hp and 168ft/lbs... without the N2O! I would buy this just to have one on the shelf, because I believe in this motors capabilities so much! (But the new M and the big bore there is taking the place of the 1M...)
Does it have power valves?
