J jwentzer Well-known member Nov 30, 2013 #4 Most of the gaskets I've dealt with have the word "UP" stamped on them. I've always put it facing up so it is readable and have never had an issue. Like mentioned before, I'm not sure it really matters in the end. Last edited: Nov 30, 2013
