cutting tracks down

i am looking into setting my 06 snopro with a 700 motor in it back to a 141. i have a buddy who has a 141 attack20 track i can pick up off him at a decent price. looking otsee if any one has cut one of these down to 13.5. any input would be very helpfull thanks.

We cut down a 144 phazer track to 12'' for a Snowhawk. We tried useing a table saw but ended up scribing a line on each side and used a sawzall.

we have cut a couple down, we have used a table saw and a skill saw. found the best thing that has worked is a table saw with 3 guys and wd40 to spray on the track to keep it from binding. worked great just run it along the fence and your good to go. make sure you turn the track insideout and it works great. hope i helped you out

I've done six so far using a table saw. I put a step ladder on each side of the saw with a pipe through the track and across the ladders. Just run the track between the rip fence and the blade, with the small strip coming off the other side. I've cut down 2 1/4" tracks by myself in 20 minutes easy. Some people turn them inside out, I've never had to.
