cutting out after a somewhat hard pull

Hello all. I have a 900 cat with edge race pipes in an edge chassis. After a somewhat hard pull, or if I stand it up when I am climbing, It acts like I lost a cyl.. When it lands and I let it set and idle, it clears up and goes again. I am running the stock fuel pump off the edge chassis. My question is does the cat fuel pump have more flow, or am I poking in the breeze? Thanks for your help John

I would bring some tools with on your next ride, then when it does it shut it off instead of letting it idle. Then drain the float bowls and see how much gas is in each side. I ones got alot less I'd look into that pump. Not sure which has more flow but I know the 900 likes fuel!

Check your tank vent also, if it is too small for the engine or plugged it can starve the engine for fuel.

It really does sound like a fuel delivery/pump issue. What pump was it supposed to feed originally? (600, 800?) Either get a King/900 pump or run two sounds like a good idea.
