I'm ordering the last of the parts I need to finish up this years build and I'm torn between a set of Cutler twins and an SLP setup.
I'm running ported cylinders with a stock head any where from 4500-10k ft elevation and will be tuning with a Power Commander V.
Anyone ever run a set? I had twins on my 1M sled and loved the crispness but got sick of jetting it every day.
How finicky is the M1000? Will I be constantly tweaking on the fuel controller or can I set it and let the stock ecu take care of compensation?
How is the fit? there's not that much room under an m hood, do I need to wrap them to keep from melting power valve cables?
IN SHORT: What's everyones experience with the twins? Are they too finicky and too tight of a fit or is the crispness and extra power worth the effort?
