CUTLER OIL PUMP QUESTION

So my oil OVS oil pump calved out this weekend, so I ordered a cutler pump and filter this morning. my sled is an 07 M8, will I need to run pump driver board to make it pulse? my plan was just to unhook the ovs pump and driver board and plug the cutler pump into the same wiring. Anyone see a problem with this?

yes that will work fine and you will have a lot better pump imo

Yea I put it in this week and it seams to be working good. I primed it with a 12 volt and it only took about 10 seconds to suck oil through. And it pumps a good amount off the sled power as well.

Anyone know anything about this oil pump:

It has a black rectangular box on the wiring that isn't seen in the pic. I haven't ran it yet, so I don't know how well it works. Is it a good pump or should I switch to the Cutler pump? Is the Cutler pump the same one that Turbo Performance sells? I don't see the Cutler pump listed on their website. If so, how's the price compare?

That looks like the same pump that ovs uses. They work fine. Mine stopped holding prime and it wasn't strong enough to suck it through the line every time I started it. So I swapped it out. Turbo boys pump and cutter pump look the same. Walbro FRA 12 or 4. Price is about the same as cutlers.

Which plug are you talking about?

In another thread you said you have, "SOLID STATE PISTON PUMPS THAT THE AIR FORCE USES IN THE F22. I USE THEM ON ALL MY KITS AND I CAN SHIP ONE WITHIN THE STATES FOR 60.00", so I am surprised you are recommending the Walbro pump over the pump you are using.
