cutler adjustables

has anyone ever noticed it seems like the primary cannot open all the way after installing cutler it adjustables making the belt seem like it is engauged,black marks around the bottom of the primary as well,

I have them in mine and have really good luck with them. Very easy to adjust.

I had the extra weights in mine sticking out just a bit in the toe, and they jammed inside the primary, couldnt open.

Have them in three clutches and have not seen that on any of them.

Match one of them up to one of your stock weights, should be the same profile. If not, you have the wrong weights. Or your clutch is binding on something!

Pull the spring and see whats up. My weights stick out a 1/4 inch and mine still shifts out fully

Probably Daltons. They hit the spider at the tips.

Cultlers fit fine.

definatly cutlers there the older ones,no weight in the tips but i suspect that is where the issue is,pulling the spring tonight to see where there touching and make some mods if nessasary like gring a hare off the tips if that is where there touching.thanks of all the replies

well i found the issue it was the toe part on the weight,its larger to accomodate weight,well it is hitting the raised part close to the center of the movable sheave on all 3,i guess i grind it down and add some more weight
