Customer Service

Sorry for the late update fellas.......service guy said the best he could do was charge me cost for the parts. But salesman stepped up and took care of it all. So in the end I feel good that the salesman stepped up but I really don't think it should've had to go that far. Had the sled out the last couple days and it seemed to be working really good. One thing that I had a hard time with is dealing with a service guy who clearly knows very little or nothing about sleds.....he told me my sled has 170hp stock. That's not the guy you want looking after a problem on your sled. Hopefully I don't have to take it back there in another 100miles when this chain case goes

Good to hear you got it straightened out. :whoo: (hopefully) 170 stock? :doh: If that was the case, almost wouldn't need a turbo(not really). Hope they don't let that "service guy" work on any sleds!!
Oh yeah. Some video would have been nice. Show some love for those who are less fortunate! :sad::thumb::crutch::beer;:beer;

Thats great news.
Very glad to hear it all worked out for you!

DOCUMENTING EVERYTHING IN WRITING is a great way to go.

Have it all in black and white so you can hand it to the manager when you go in for your meeting.

x's just in case you have any more issues.
Never had a belt issue with stock yamaha (2 Nytros / 5 Phazers).

Even though the sales rep stepped up, you should still request to speak with mngt as there is obviously an issue with the service depart ... I'ld be leery about dealing with them in future if thats how the repair was handled re customer service .... dealer sold the sled and added boost / stretched then they should have indicated / remiedied if the belt was not rated to handle the power otherwise they would be liable not just for damage but personal injury as well!

Calm meeting with the management to present your concerns would be a good approach and they may decide to even offer some additional goodies as goodwill. May just have been a screw up by one person in one instance ... never hurts to keep all your records & document everything though!

there is a solenoid in the cat chain case that shifts from forward to revers & holds it in forward.for some reason it seems to be weak & lets it come out of gear when on the throttle.cat is having same issue.
some info here

If the solenoid isn't strong enough to hold in forward maybe have it hold in reverse instead? Wouldn't pop out in a climb. Or get a solenoid that's not made in China! (just guessing) :D
