After banging the S*** out of my knee after coming off a cornice off camber last week I decided to make some sweet knee padding to protect myself...

I'm having trouble uploading pics of them but if you are interested in checking them out PM me or send me an email so I can send Pics... riv2511@aol.com

I can make them in black, red, white, blue or grey..

Price should be about $20 + shipping..

I'm guessing you will need some pictures. Just like p0rn, worthless w/o pictures! I'm curious to see what you have though.

Why don't you just wear some $15 shin, knee pads? That way, your knees are protected no matter what they hit.

seriously??? I been riding dirt bikes since I was a kid.... Never found any decent shin pads for $15... My kids soccer shinpads cost more than that!!!

Cheap ones are better than nothing, my point is, guards are more effective if they cover your body vs covering a part of the sled.

I hear you.. Just saying that the pads I have just made will offer a little bit of extra insurance when the knee hits the shroud HARD!!!!!!!!.. Trust me I am still hobbling a bit and by the way I was wearing knee pads....

My Klim pants have pads built in but the shape of the sleds makes it so they slip off the sled going down steep hills. Pads on the sled would help this.
Post up those pics. These could work great. Lets see em!

Moose Racing or Thor are cheap! Maybe $20, but that's still cheap!

Been emailing a few folks the pics.. Forgot to mention that the pads are dual density.. I'm also thinking that they will offer some grip on steep downhill sections.. email me for pics or more info..... riv2511@aol.com

Sorry my digital camera dissapeared.. Got 2 kids.. I have emailed 20 or so people pictures already.. just email me riv2511@aol.com and I will send you 3 pictures.. Left side Right side and a picture from the back of the sled.. I have 3 rides on them and can't imaging riding without them... Only adds a couple of ounces to the sled and offers a ton of grip/protection....
