Custom hood

I was looking through the threads on this forum and I found a king cat that had a hood that looked like it went on an M8. Are these custom hoods? Or does someone actually make them?

outlaw composites used to make an F series hood that fit on the ZR3 chassis and looks like this

I know someone is making a hood that looks like the M series hood that fits these sleds. I think its BR tech but I could be mistaken.

Is that your sled? and if it is, how much did you pay for the hood?

yep thats my sled....it took me damn near a year to track this hood down and you don't wanna know how much i paid for it....this is one of the last brand new hoods outlaw composites shipped out before they shut down.... I tracked this thing down to the back of a shop in yakima washington.

I know someone makes a M hood i just can't quite remember who it was, start a thread in general, performance, and mountain and see if you cant get any hits... best of luck to ya

Its XXXmodrods that was making that M hood. Im not so sure they are anymore. I talked to them at the snow show and he said they quit making stuff for the 1m chassis cause not enough demand.
