We used some black material on our race cars that looked matte/satin in daylight but was reflective at night. Almost looked like it was back lit somehow. I might try that on my sled. I really like the way your sled looks. Big fan of the matte murder look.

Might want to try scaling them up to 16" long. Fills the space better.
