Cummins fuel sensor/chip..failure

I have a 2003 Dodge cummins. with 75k miles.... In the last 8 months i burned up TWO fuel rail pressure sensors....THis is the sensor that the Quadzilla chip plugs into right on the top of the motor..I ordered a New Quadzilla chip and the sensor burned up again last week????
This sensor cost $700 thru dodge dealer.. I was able to purchase directly from cummins for $400...
Is this burning up from the chip?
Is this something that is coming from a more indepth prob.???
Has anybody had these problems with the dodge cummins???
Any help would be appreciated...

its the qdz chip its just ramping the sensor to hard toss the chip get a H&H or a smarty
