Has anyone ridden up the trails to play in the bowls and to the south here? It looks like a good day ride from Denver.

Never rode the old Cuchara ski area side, have rode the Trinchera Ranch side. There is a huge area up there to ride. Traditionally not great snow falls, I think low snow levels is what did the ski area in.
We have logging crew in the area, as of now not sure if there is enough coverage to ride. I will check with the log truck drivers this morning to get a snow report.
Thanks for the input. It looks like you can ride right to the summit, but not on the west side. I read somewhere there's no access to the national forest from Forbes ranch. What did you you as an access on the west side?
