The CSA meeting took place this past weekend. Have not heard a word on the results, or, how the riding was at TML during the event....

All three of the lodges were great- Thunder mtn, Grand Mesa and Alexander lake and the snokrusers host club did an awesome job hosting the event.

Snow was best we have seen all year and it was my first time on the Mesa so the space even made it better.

Got lots done at the meetings

- updated everyone on the recent Udall report that found wilderness designations directly contributed to the pine beetle outbreak. How will additional Wilderness help forest health

- Did some planning for the International Snowmobile Congress that Colorado is hosting in 2014

- discussed the recent BLM planning mess

- planned for the DC Fly in meetings with Federal legislators in March

- addressed changes to RTP and how to keep our gas taxes going to the trails

- winter wildlands petition litigation

- status of grooming money in parks and DOW merger

- Follow up of white river appeal and areas being reopened as a result

-ATV licensing bill

- renewal of contract for Denver snowshow

-applications of CSA people for positions on the Forest Planning rule implementation team

All in all a very productive meeting

I heard House Bill 1264 (atv licensing) was postponed indefinately in the Senate but passed in the House, is there any new info?

Being reintroduced this year in the house- same basic bill as last year with regard to users
