Crusty Stampede!!

Went to Stampede this morning with 2thetop. 1 1/2 inches of icy crust...even at the higher elevations. Below the crust was deep powder...but you couldn't get to it................hard enough to keep the sleds on the trail. We saw one sledder try to climb a small hill...he just ended up rolling backwards down the hill. Even with ice scratchers had to stop several times to cool 'em down!! Had fun anyway!!

Crusty Saturday - Nice Friday!

We were at Cooper Lake on Friday and got the last of the powder. Sun was out and started to melt the surface.

you know i'm totally being sarcastic.. but you are claiming

crust layer got deeper and deeper down today.. just nuking up there..
