Oh, yeah and 216" must be a 30yr average or something.
Typically just under 2x that, and 600-1000" in the backcountry.

Not this year though! Grrr.

2007/2008 ski season had 420 at Crested Butte Mountain Resort.

Town vs ski area vs backcountry are very different snow totals around here.

Most definetly. Snow depth changes dramatically within even a couple of miles in the back country.
 
I still can't figure out why Cottonwood doesn't get the snow that Irwin does.
It's due east, and it's not like the clouds leave CB empty - or maybe the do!!!!

I live in Wi, ride 95% in the U.P. of Michigan. Number 3 on that list is Hancock, Mi at 212". I ride about 30 miles to the south east of there, litttle town called Twin Lakes. 3 years ago they got 312" for the season. :face-icon-small-hap
