Crowsnest Pass

I searched crowsnest pass and didn't get any results. Anyone familiar with the area? We have historically gone to Island Park and rented a cabin. But the snow has been marginal at best the last couple of years so I'm looking to expand my horizons. I can't find a whole lot of information on the interwebs such as places to stay and ride from without having to trailer? Not a huge deal but handy with the kids and inlaws to be able to pull and go.
I'd sure appreciate anyone's help.

It`s terrible i wouldn`t spend money coming this way the ski hill just close this week for lack of snow i havent been out since Jan. you can check these sights for snow condition. www.skicastle.ca and www.skifernie.com and also innontheborder.blogspot.ca hope this helps you out

Thanks, I guess I didn't clarify real well, we're already in for Island Park this year, have a cabin reserved and can't get out of it so we'll be muddin from the sounds of it... Next fall I would like to head North and check out some of the early snow.

The Mountain Memories website still has good directions to various staging areas on it

Summit Creek Cabins is a pull and go place to stay;

Couple of other places outside of Coleman on the north side of highway 3 are also pull and go. I will try and find the contact info and post it up later.

There was also a Bed and Breakfast in Fernie that was advertising as pull and go, not sure if they are still in business or not.
