rode crowfoot sunday, holy **** pretty nice snow pack allready. limited visibality but unreal snow

Anyone hear if the Logging on the main road is going to be finished end of November ? or will it be going into December ?

no you have to drive up to 4k still. looks like the skidder was loaded up wednesday and gone! so no worries about loggin trucks! but i tell ya, the snow issss unreal. we went up to the lookout and got completely fogged in, it was 3pm and dark under those clouds!!!
but we were the only track on the mountain so it was a fun ride back, will have pics next week for when i fly back to do a couple more days of sleddddddin.
ps, those new klim radium boots suck ***! i think im just gonna buy some sorels and be done with it

You still have to drive up to 4km (not much room to turn around with a trailer)
Went up Fri Nov.27 bluebird day. Measuring stick at cabin shows 5ft base.

The snow was a little wind packed on the ridges and about 2ft soft in lower bowls and trees.

very good base..still find the stumps/rocks if not carefull but with a little more snow it will be prime.

oh ya the goat trail up was absolutly terrible.parking is still at 4km

rode there wendsay, maybe one pass so far this year,, it was pretty ruff though need more low elev snow

I ended up going out on Thursday. The trail was groomed past the first cabin the night before and the long way round was in the best shape. Up top we found lots of fresh covered meadows in sunshine but the area was getting tracked up.
