Crickets 2026 Skidoo Release

It's a clue that Gen5 is only half way through the life cycle.

I really don't understand why they can't make a good ski. The revised DS4 is still ass.

I'd like to see the expert get the narrow track. The float is great for non experts but the narrow track is surprisingly way more responsive to throttle inputs. Trading float for responsiveness seems more aligned with the philosophy of the expert.

The headlights look closer together in Jeremy Mercier's video. Either a new lightweight hood or the 900ace turbo found its way to the summit line.
That be sweet. Currently on a sidewinder…

I wonder what the direction will be with the epa regulations. I can’t imagine the 2 stroke will be allowed down the road. Electric for the mountains is not the direction that’s for sure.

"game changer"... new 900cc etec non turbo would be easy to say. But cant stop thinking that lynx made already brutal ACE900R (154" & 16" wide track). Maybe Doo is releasing 900 turbo fourstroke in a summit chassis? Like a real mountain sled with 4-stroke engine, not a crossover like brutal.

They tried that years ago with A 4S and pulled it during snow check, Interesting thought though that they would possibly get into that when no one is doing that anymore.

Now think back.
What was the last LEGITIMATE "GAME CHANGER" in Mountain Sledding??
3" tracks and 36" stance imo. Realistically a 2015 T3 is going to do pretty decent with a brand new doo unless your your doing huge climbs in and out of areas where you need turbo power

Personally dont care about 4-strokes, and if they would come out with that it could be total flop. But the basic platform is ready, as they have with brutal (g5 wider front frame for the wider engine paired with narrow tunnel). So realistically Im expecting a new 900 non turbo 2-stroke to take back riders who went with 9R hype.

Game changers of the past in my opinion
-Fuel injection
-A-arm front suspension
-Rev chassis and design philosophy (biggest of them all which shaped the whole industry)
-Electric reverse
-Direct injection engines
-Shot
-Factory turbos

Ski-Doo has been strong with its engineering first philosophy. But really like the rider first thinking of polaris, refining the sled by what the riders want. I think both could learn more from each other.

LOL that is insane to say. That is like saying a 2015 pro will follow a Matryx and it isn't even close how much better the newer sleds are.

No it's more like saying a 2016 axys will follow a matryx considering that's when polaris went 3" and is still the same bulk head. Those mid/ later teen sleds were the true start to the modern sleds and the jump from those to what we have now is many orders less then the jump made from mid/later 2000s sleds

Not a chance. Had one. They had fat body and boards and did not go through the snow like these new ones. Not even close.
I had one as well. It would be more effort for sure absolutely no doubt. But unless your going straight up or are in the steepest of terrain with the peak skill level of riders a T3 is gunna keep along just fine

What I’ve been hearing is lightweight parts and a 900+ na 2 stroke. Weight loss should be 10-15 lbs and hp gains should be 10-15 horses over the 850.
