Building a 2017 CRF450RX snowbike. Just took off the seat and discovered that this airbox is already vented pretty well from the factory. Both sides and the Bottom have good airflow. Anyone out there have experience from last season with this bike? I was thinking of buying the yeti snowbike intake or the outerwears pre filter for the stock cage. Anyone have success yet???

I know for me the intake has been more for the box filling with snow and jamming up than airflow... As long as the snow can exit your good.. loudmouth intake makes a snow version that would allow you to run just a dry filter . You would have to check for your bike... Or Fab something

I'm also building a new bike using a '17 CRF450RX. I think the stock box is going to have issues filling with snow.
Unless you're planning on running it in the dirt during the summer I would pull that box off. I have a Timbersled TSS intake that I installed.
