Now that's the way you should go when installing a 3" track. Stuffing it in with 7 tooth drivers is giving up a lot of benefit of the 3" track.

why?

When you run 7 tooth drivers the track has to bend around a smaller diameter. You also mess up your attack angle. When you can drop and roll and run 8 tooth drivers, you have a much more efficient drive train. Sure you can run a 3" with 7 tooth drivers, but it won't work as good as running with a drop and roll and bigger drivers.
