Crash Video

Damn!! no warning. Lucky you weren't hurt worse!! You need to find some riding buddys. Alone ain't good! I was nervous just waiting for the wreck!!

That was an abrupt stop!! A-hole over elbows is never much fun, especially after you gas it a but to lighten the front end over that little hump right before the stop. BK

Those instant stops really hurt no matter what you are riding. Glad to hear you were only brused not broken. Going in it looked like you would ride right out again. Did you figure out what stoped you?

The buddy thing is always good advice. this goes to show you that you dont have to be riding crazy for something crazy to happen. Did not see anyone else around either.

There was a bump in the snow there to hint of possible trouble. I had a similar crash on Sat. Came over a rise to see a bigger bump in the snow and it was a giant rock under about 8 inches under the snow, but I came into it nose down. Stopped the sled immediately. Hurt for a bit. Thankfully I was wearing knee guards and a Tek vest. Bulkhead is shattered.

I know riding alone isnt always best but I always end up playing catch up, feeling like im lost and getting stuck. when Im on my own I make my own path, on my own time frame and can stop and start as I please. Riding with friends is fun but no always

You're telling me! I don't even remember the crash, I just remember pulling snow out of my helmet.

It was a big *** rock! I was totally alone, and it was awesome. I know its risky but other than this it was an awesome day. Like I said before, buddy riding is fun but its also has its drawback. Its like always fallowing the leader and you end up not being able to really explore an area.

Yeah in the video it was easy to see what I hit. But I didnt see that untill I was burshing the snow off of it. The major problem was the lack of base in the snow that day. was 100% sugar. You can see the ski dive under and snow fly up right before I hit
