Cache County Search and Rescue members have been called to assist with a rescue operation involving an injured snowmobiler on Mt. Naomi northeast of Logan.
Sheriff’s Lt. Chad Jensen said a 20-year-old male reportedly crashed a snowmobile on the peak and was complaining of back pain. Emergency dispatchers were notified about the incident around 12:15 p.m. Jensen said the injuries were not life threatening.
A medical helicopter was said to be en route to the location at 12:40 p.m.

hope he is ok. Not the time to take unnecessary risks. Yes the snow allows us to explore new areas and try climbs no other snow allows without the power. That been said, the way down is different that mid season snow. and yes, you do have to come down.. Be careful all...

Ski brakes!! Summer snow is fast!! If treeboss and I would have used ski brakes his sled would still be in one piece! But I really hope he's okay. It really sucks to hear of these this late in the season. I'll probably ride this weekend then put it away. I'd rather put it away in one piece and no broken bones than to ride one more week.

Just talked to a buddy that was riding with that group today. Guys name was landen heyer 2 broken vertebrates, Totaled the tapex he was riding. Seen the pics also, looks terrible.

I was riding with landon today. Out at christmas tree. I remember hearing a sled go wide open then seeing parts flying into the air and him just lying there on the hill. Bad deal for sure. Just lost his side hill and went off two cliffs. Could of happened to anyone... Landon is doing alright just in alot of pain. They want him to stay at the hospital tell sunday. Its going to be an adventure getting the apex out. It broke the front bulk head right off, broke the throttle bodies off, broke the intercooler off and a whole list of small stuff.. There was a huge group up there that rushed right over so if any of you are on snowest thanks for your help.

Glad he's doin ok. i wish him a speedy recovery. I've never seen a sled break apart like that one did. Can't imagine how bad it was seeing it person

hey everyone. just give a update. i broke some vertabres. l2 l3 l4. im just kinda laying around for one more week and should be back up and going again. i want to thank everyone that was up there and help me. the apex is done for. im going to try and buy another one and rebuilt as soon as i can
