Crankcase Drain on 900?

Is there a drain plug(s) on an '06 900 Liberty crankcase? My old 700 had 2 plugs under the exhaust manifold, piece of cake to drain and see what was in there. I have a bad feeling there may be antifreeze in the crankcase. What should I look for if I think a base gasket may be leaking?

Yes drains are on very bottom of case..motor must be out complete to access them..

Pull ur reeds off Of look in the case first..

Coolant Could be from base gaskets or head o-rings..might as well install new if ur pulling it apart

A milkshake'ish like substance. Like guido said, just pop out the reeds to have a look.

First off, what gives you the feeling there is coolant in the case? Smoke or ??

I got the engine hot (250), replaced the head o-rings already but am still loosing some coolant. I'm hoping it's just air working out. I would just like to make sure the base gasket is ok and not leaking into the crankcase, without too much trouble. I'm going to pull the engine in the spring but would hate to have to do it now in the middle of the season.

If you have even a slight amount of coolant getting into the combustion chamber you would see tons of smoke with a very sweet brown sugar smell coming from the exhaust. It doesn't take much coolant to see it. When you are low on and add coolant, two things will happen: you will have some air come out for a while. the tank will puke some out to adjust the final level.
