crank seals toasted by oil change?

99 SummitX crank seals went (cionciodentally?) south after first tank of Polaris Yes Gold. I am an Idiot. Sled had only had AMS* Interceptor oil previously.
*not touting quality of oil, just noting the change from one brand to another on an older sled.
any comments?

It was coincidence--Not caused by the oil.

Did you blow a belt by chance?

I run Pol VAS Gold in all my Skidoo's wouldn't use another oil!!
