Crank builders in Minnesota?

F
Anyone know of a good source in Minnesota to bring my 02 RMK 800 to get the Primary clutch balanced, and the wide bearing kit on the crank, as well as possibly checking the crank out?

Any help is appreciated

Aaaa......... One of the best Polaris guys in the nation.
Dan from Indy Specialty.
23503 145th Ave, Welch, MN. Tel: 651-388-9045

He has done one of my cranks and TONS of others.
I would not go to anyone else in Mn.

Indy Specialties in Welch is highly regarded. I personally have had good experiences with his work (Indydan on SW). Bill Bune enterprises in Anoka is also very good. I'm not sure if he does the big bearing though.

Thanks fellas, greatly appreciated. I was paging through old posts about 800 cranks and saw IndyDan's name come up, and couple of guys at the outlaw grass drags last weekend said he did great work as well.

I got an 02' 800 rmk a few weeks ago, long story short, want to have it looked at. Big bearing possibly put in, primary balanced, and want to try to do the pro active crank stuff, instead of the reactive crank failure dance in the backcountry.

Yep Dan is the best in MN and does top notch work, he treated me awsome and the work was perfect. I will definately use him again in the future, even having to ship clear from Washington.

Take it to Dan. Just got my 700 back from him on thursday.I also took my carl's 910 to him to check it out. He is a very nice person to deal with and fair on his work! I am going to premix on both sleds. Will still inject on the dragon. After i forgot to put cap back on oil tank and then rolled the 700 down a hill landing up side down with no cap on premix will be good as i hope i can at least put gas cap back on sled!!! Lets just say i have no rust problem under the hood on the 700 what a mess!
