OK so I am restoring a 97 cr500 for snowbike only application... when I put the carb heater and stat on there is not any room to y the lines off the head.... but I would think plugging one side has the same effect? See pics... I just want to make sure there is some issue with doing this.....

2nd question... Which way does the coolant flow..... Does it go radiator then pump then head or the opposite?

Waterpump up to cylinder, then out the top of head, up to top of rads, down through rads to waterpump.

You have a thermostat in that system ?

So I take it you guys are not concerned with trapping an air pocket in the blocked off line? I guess a hot spot there shouldn't be an issue but I was just curious on your guys thoughts.
