CR500 Fork Springs

I'm building a '94 CR500 snow bike this year and am having trouble finding new, heavier, fork springs for it.

What are you guys running (I'm pretty fat), and where did you get them?

TIA
PZ

Ummm. Isnt that year 46mm forks ? I thought 92 was last year for 43mm. Maybe its 92-94 for the 43mm. 95 for 46mm. I thought Cannon could make any custom spring u wanted ?

If it was me id prob forego the CR 43mm forks and try and fit up a newer Honda 47mm fork or go to a KTM 48mm fork. Cheap to do.

I have a 98. I took my forks to dirt lab in north salt lake. They told me .54 was the stiffest that race tech made for my bike but they had a company that could custom make some for a bit more (can't remember who). I went with .58. Havn't ridden them yet but i will update as time goes on. I'm 170 lbs. but pretty agressive in my endeavers.
I had them do a full rebuild and after tax it was 400. 180 for the springs only i think.

Thats Cannon Racecraft. They must not make the smaller springs for the 1994 since they are 43mm. I thought they custom made springs but maybe not for the 43mm. Good to know.

I think 96 was the first year for the 46mm fork. You can use CR450F forks with an ALL Balls headset bearing. I swapped to WP forks on mine but if I were to do it again I'd just use the Showas.
