just picked up a cherry 97 CR5 to spin my timbersled. trying to figure my best bet for carb. 39.5 PWK sounds good, seems like be waiting a long time to get a smart carb.. but heard the lectron carbs are almost identical to smart carb but havent heard of anyone using them on a snowbike.

Another Smartcarb delay
I just got an email from Apt today that their supplier has delayed there delivery date again, but no estimated shipping date given. Kind of getting old, just want some good news. Really want this carb but tired of the hold ups time after time.

I ordered the cast 38mm for my Cr500. The initial release date was Aug 12th, that's been bumped a few times to mid November (as best as I can figure). I have high hopes for it, but it would be nice to have something for he $400 (that's with shipping) that I paid months ago. But I guess waiting for a good product is better that getting a rush job that doesn't work as advertised.

Ive got a lightly used PWK 39.5 for sale, About 6 rides I think. I sold my 500 and still have the carb. I put an ad on the swap if your interested.

I'm possibly interested. I'm interested in pulsed carbs and the smart carb has some issues with being pulsed according to the Pulse Engineering guy.
