Cr racing Gauge bracket mounting help

hey i got a cr racing apex gauge bracket to go with my cr racing risers. but how does the stupid thing mount? there are 2 small screws that come with bracket but it does not line up to bolt with the riser caps. is there something i'm not seeing? almost looks like i gotta tap and drill into my risers????????

Yes you have to tap and drill the risers as you suspected. The height you mount them at is a personal preference, which is probably why they don't pre drill and tap them.
