Ya, well, no babysitting needed here. Anyone who knows him knows the man needs no babysitting what so eva! Beautiful rider. Climbing and jumping w/ him is an honor. I LOVE IT!

He had a bit of fun at Gold Creek, found a few cornices.... had a bit of sunshine. I swear.... his smile lit up the whole mountain! There are very few other peeps that I would rather spend my day with...

I laughed so freaking hard today.. my cheeks hurt, my stomach muscles are tired. What is a better day? Sunshine, some new snow (enough to carve in) friends, great sleds, suns, laughter........... Life is GOOD!!:face-icon-small-coo

THANK YOU MIKE FOR GIVING ME THIS DAY!:beer;

And MOB.... Got Turtle? TEEEEEEEEEEEEEARSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS :D

Only a few pictures...........

We had a scare today.

Oh man.

Red Dog decides to climb this tight line through the trees, off camber. He was cruisin' good, but hit a vertical spot and lost tons of track speed, decided to sidehill left into the trees and next thing we see is this HUGE tree shake. Oh man, race is on for everyone to get up there. He got bucked off his sled, hit his head (straight on) on a tree then the sled came down and pinned him against the tree. It took us a good 20 minutes to get the dang sled off of him, not good. But we uncover him, get him to start making sense and we find out all (I say all... because it could have been sooooooo much worse) he's got is a big knot on the knoggin' and a big bruise on his hip. It took another few minutes to get him to be able to focus. I was so nervous.... he said his leg hurt. Oh man. But just bruises..... We got his sled out due to a great idea by DAVEY (THANK YOU THANK YOU) and Mike rode it off the mountain.

I've detained him, afraid for him to drive home today... so we are sitting on the couch with an ice pack on his hip and a beer in his hand. :) He's been on the phone socializing for the past hour, so I'm sure he is about 99%... but still don't want to have him drive home today, by himself. :D

So, unfortunately his tour of the West side of Washington has come to an end.... we were so hoping to take him to Bear Paw tomorrow, but right now, we are just happy he is HERE! :D

geez

That Red Dog is always gettin into some kind of trouble...

Good to see he is ok. Be Careful Mike.

BTW, How thick of a tree can he shake with his noggin??(JK)

It sounds like it was all a ploy to hang out longer with Brandy :D Glad to hear your melon's intact and big props to w8tn4u for being "Johnny on the spot". Got to be able to rely on the people you ride with :beer; Shizzle happens FAST!

Dang Mike...how's the head feeling this morning?? Glad that you got in a great day of riding the day before.

Doug and I will have to add you to the list of potential bubble-wrap riders. ;)

lucky

Reddog is one lucky boy that he just got his bell rung and a sore hip. The way that sled stopped on top of him and the tree it could have been so much worse. That was a long climb from the time i parked my sled until we got to him, we could hear him calling for help but couldn't see him. It was good to see him after we got him down the hill calling brent a liar about the helmet rolling down the hill. Then he said he would kick all are azzes if we didn't keep riding, Thanks for riding with us Mike, I won't forget that shoot, think i'll call it Reddogs roost.

Mike, as important (more actually) as where I ride is WHO I ride with. I am glad it all worked out that day for you, now take care of those injuries. It is no fun riding the bubble wrap couch where Mindy and I sit. :( heal up well.
