Coupling stock 2010 skid

My Turboed Nytro 2010 stock skid feels like getting sucked up in the tunnel when i climb in deep snow.

I bought some Arctic Cat coupling blocks (2604-545 rear arm coupler) with 3 settings but they are way too short and the skid will almost dissapear in the tunnel before they hit the arm.

Could i just drill new holes to move the blocks closer to the arm?
Are there any guidance on where the arm should stop? vertical?

Thanks
Hans

I asked this a while back and Ulmer has them on his website also.

thanks for the pic.

Is sure looks like the Polaris block is pretty much same size as my AC block.

When i pushed down on rear - with the sled flat on the floor - it seemed to bottom alot even when i had the block on the highest setting and the rear arm moved very little toward the block.

Does it make any difference in coupling if the sled is raised at the front bumper instead? (im not near my sled)

the blocks in the correct location will help but you will get more out of flat rails, call ice age.. The tipped up rails are great for the trail and meadow shredding but work like a rocking horse on a slope. julio

are there any differences - on the ice age rails - other than being straight, another geometry etc.?

ice age rails

I dont think so, but if you want different size wheels they will make them fit what you want, oh and they use polaris style hifax that last much longer than the yammys.. julio

Any one happen to know what style or part number the polaris hyfax are on ice age rails? They are wearing great but would like to have a spare set on hand.
