Coupled Stock Suspension???

OVS sells a bolt-on to couple a stock M suspension, has anybody tried it yet? Does it work? My 06 M7 with a 900 big bore wheelies like crazy in the steeps and this looks like a very economical way to stop that.

Are your limiter straps sucked up or all the way out? Pull them up if they are not already. You can also put the rear skid mount hole in the bottom hole and that will help keep it down. Between both of these you should be able to force more ski pressure.

I had a stock coupled skid on m6 that was built for hillclimb. Im sure it doesn't have the wheeling problem like yours but it would hang the skis no more than maybe 6 inches off the ground at best....I have the plastic blocks they used if you are interested

I too would really like some more info on this coupling setup. Can you back it off to stock. Was this used by anyone last year some first hand experince would be great.

Thanks

Thanks for the replies guys, but I don't want to suck up the front or drop the back out cause I've done this on many of my past sleds and it makes the sled ride like a buckboard. Pure Logic posted on here that this bolt on of theirs would control the transfer without sacrificing the ride and I was just wondering if anybody on here had any experience with this.

I looked at pure logics kit, it looks like a fancier way to couple it than mine. The blocks i refered to are blocks that bolt onto the top rail behind the rear scissor arm they let just the back of the skid go through about an inch and a half of travel before it forces the whole skid to move. They can be moved farther back for more travel before it is coupled or vis versa. It doesn't change any of the geometry it just forces the whole skid to move together.....frock if you want to try it I would give you the plastic blocks if you want to try it out before dropping the money on the purelogic kit.

This is the best picture I could fine but its not that great....even worse its on a poo :) but the small blocks behind the rear arm is what im referring too

Thanks for the offer RC. Are these blocks bolted right onto the skid (it's hard to tell from your pic) and are they adjustable on the hill?

Thanks;

just woundering if this are similar to the ones found on the f7's sno pro?

They came with the sled which was set up for hillclimb by Arctic Cat so i would imagine that they are similar to the sno pro blocks.

They are not adjustable on the hill, that is a downside you have to drill a hole in your rails and bolt them on, my skid had hillclimb rails so they fit really nice and worked great, haven't tried them on stock rails but im sure they could be adapted to any rails. I never broke them for the short time i used them but i could see them breaking after a hard landing. The sled was an awesome hillclimber and the only mods to the suspension were rail stiffeners and the coupler blocks.

Shane if you want to pm me your address i could send the blocks to you
