My boy love sledding! "Dad I was born for this" finally got the chance to put his Jag on the snow. It was a brisk 11' when we unloaded I thought one lap and he'll be done. In my wisdom I thought Id just wear my leather waterproof work boots, that way I knew my feet should get cold before his. He needed one tug, the one I filled my boot with snow, well the temps took about 2hrs to wear him down. I was ready to go too. We hit the top of Parleys and started down the SL county side 1/2 mile before Lambs BOOOMM! tire on the trailer lets go! Thats cool dad threw in 2 spares, just like Christmas story Id give the Indy 500 guys a run at changing a tire! Back on the road headed for Taco Time ( my boy loves the cinnamon things) we pass a car and I hear a God awful noise get pulled over on the on ramp to 2-15 to check it out and there is a 12"X12" hole in my trailer deck and very little of the wheel the tire is nowhere to be seen. I barely manage to limp to Olympus Hills Mall where my buds step up big! Steve (03phatcat) stopped at Pauls (RMKrazy) andpicked up a sweet car hauler we were loaded and on the road in no time. Thanks to Phatty & Built Ford Tough they were ready to help in the $hit $how! that is my life. I got the best friends in the world! Thanks all! Some azz hat tried to steal my rig while I was sitting in the truck waiting for the calvary!

Sounds like my type of luck also. On the bright side though your son loves to snowmobile. You have got to love having a riding partner like that.

I have to say the people I have met and the friends I have made sledding are some of the best people I know and sledders will generally do anything for each other. I think it relates to all of us getting some nasty stucks and tow outs at one time or another and needing help. If you ride a sled sooner or later you know you need good friends that's for sure.
