council mt. and you can head over and ride west mt. from the west side.

out of council there is a trail somewhere that gets you up to the top of west mountain.

goal is to groom it once a week, just like last year. which, given the traffic, means it is a pretty sneaky way for locals and tourists in the know to have a great ride.

There's also a new parking lot just up the road, Price Valley, it's just after Tamarack the town.

If you continue up to New Meadows, you can sneak into the Brundage area from the Wallace Ranch, "Timber Ridge" subdivision.

this parking lot can be hard to find, worth the drive in the summer just to check it out. it will only hold about a dozen trucks but not to many people know/use it.
