The Utah Avalanche Center is holding a series of avalanche rescue classes. These 3 hour classes at Brighton will teach you what you need to know to use your transceiver to find a buried victim, dig them out, and take care of them. Classes will be held on Monday, Feb 9 at 5:30 pm, Saturday morning Feb 21, and Friday evening Feb 27. These classes are open to everyone - snowmobilers, skiers, snowboarders - anyone who wants to learn solid rescue skills from Search and Rescue and avalanche pros. More info here
