Been meaning to post this now for over two weeks.
Was down to 43° yesterday morning here.
The Cottonwoods at the Florence Bridge (on the Bitterroot River) have been turning yellow.
They truly do start changing pretty quickly after the solstice.
Not long until the elk start to rub and begin bugling.
Oh...and we always get our first snow dusting on the peaks around here in late Aug.
