Correct Way To Install Exhaust Valve

Fellas, king of frustrating, went to clean my exhaust valves and did a bone head thing. Pulled them out but did not looks how the guiltine went back in. Question is, one side is smooth and other side has hollow areas. Does the hollow area go up or down. I think up but that is why I am asking. Thanks The Spudman:light:

They only go in one way, try it you'll see. You can't put them in wrong.

Hollow part up I believe. The smooth part is where the exhaust passes by. And like stated before you won't be able to put the assembled valve back in fully upside down.

Yes they only go one way but and you do have to take the steering post lose then turn skis right, take off bellow cover to get the exhaust valve out of the clutch side cylinder. When you do and clean the guilitine, you can spin the guilitine and put it on the wrong way. I called a dealer and he told me which way the guilitine goes with the hollow side up. Thanks for the reply. Have a good day. The Spudman:face-icon-small-blu
