Didn't notice anything out of the ordinary

Snow up there is pretty thin and the lakes have very few snow coverage but was there today and didn't noticed anything out of the ordinary. Wonder where the death took place. We need snow

Apparently the rider lost it on a trail and hit a tree. They said
He wasn't wearing a helmet. Def Sad to hear.

Sad deal. Anything I do that is faster than I can run warrants a helmet.

Unfortunately not all helmets are created equal and many that are 5 years old, or older, suffer from hardening of the foam liner rendering them useless. You can test your liner by pushing your thumb nail into the liner--if it penetrates the liner is good.

Any helmet that has been hit or dropped may also need replacing.

Accident happened off of Denver water board road, guy was riding a borrowed sled, with no helmet and was reportedly a 'newer' snowmobiler. Heard he was from the Idaho springs area.
